I’m sure you’ve probably seen this by now, but Melissa McCarthy battled Jimmy Fallon in his Lip Sync Battle and she totally destroyed him, particularly with her closing number.
The whole thing is entertaining, but the best bits start at 5:45.

So I was watching The Tonight Show the other night and Jimmy Fallon was explaining how he was going to be on this new show Lip Sync Battle, and concluded his little spiel by saying Anne Hathaway would be on it and that people would be “talking” about what she was going to do. This is what she did. And it’s awesome:
I didn’t get to see the full episode yet, but she battles Emily Blunt. I have no idea what Blunt did, but there’s no way she could outdo Anne Hathaway swinging around on a wrecking ball like Miley Cyrus. I wonder if they decided to pair Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt together because they both played Meryl Streep’s assistants in The Devil Wears Prada…
I like to watch The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon because I think Jimmy Fallon is an awesome, hilarious, and appreciative guy. Sure, he may make his guests play ridiculous games, but if they’re getting a pie in the face, so is he. Anyway, he had Alan Cumming on his show the other night who told a story about Dame Helen Mirren disapproving of his Crocs. I thought his comeback (1:59) was perfect; I’ve got to remember to use it for the future. The full story starts 1:15 in the clip below:
It still amazes me that Alan Cumming plays Eli Gould on The Good Wife because his accent in real life so drastically different from his Eli voice.
Whenever my family and I do something and take a road trip, I always make a cd with different songs. Since we’re going apple picking tomorrow, I made this playlist for our ride, so I thought I’d share…especially because it’s been a long time since I’ve blogged…this semester is legit killing me (#stressed). Normally I put upbeat/happy songs and a wide range of genres on the playlists for my family so there’s something for everyone, but I think I kind of dropped the ball on this one. Oh well. I’m an artist.
If you’re wondering why I randomly added “Ew!,” the Jimmy Fallon skit/song, my family like Jimmy Fallon…so it was meant as a joke…although I do think the song is actually quite good because of will.i.am’s production. Plus, Jimmy Fallon rapping as a teenage girl is hilarious.
